Animation video to be used in a retargeting of website visitors

Design, publication and retargeting

A short teaser which features our employer value proposition statement. We used it in a retargeting of candidates that visited our career page. It´s aim is to stay visible to candidates on social media and to trigger a repeat visit.

 

Social Media campaign to attract tech candidates in Portugal

Target group research, design, publication and promotion

In order to create awareness for our tech segment at New Work SE in Porto, I created a social media campaign including two flights. The first one focused on creating brand awareness the second one on conversion. We used a budget of around 5K, generated 10K landing page visits and managed to double our application rate .

Design, content creation and publication

In order to stay in touch with potential candidates we created a talentpool newsletter that gives insights on what is happening across our New Work brands in certain segments. This format allows us to stay in touch with candidates, it gives valuable insights and it also features current jobs.

Your strategy builds the foundation for all your employer branding measures. The aim is to create a brand image with authentic characteristics and a distinctiveness that works well with your target group. I feel like most companies spent too little time on finding the right strategy. A strategy that not only attracts talents, but also works well to actually retain them. It is something that should come from the inside, to be successful on the outside. Arguably the most important piece of content in any recruiting medium you will create.

Websites, videos, job ads, your company pages on Linkedin and XING, whatever meets the eye of the candidate should capture him from the first moment. Even more important: it should initiate an uncomplicated hiring process. I place a strong focus on both UX and UI design. Especially the user experience should be on point to turn candidates into hires.

I believe there is no better way to capture talents other than a user centric design that fluently speaks your candidates language.

Since I can remember I had strong passion for design. However, it took quite some time until this passion found a spot in my professional live.

I started out in recruiting, both on the active sourcing and consulting side. Working as a consultant and coach for e-recruiting products I gave workshops on employer branding and advised clients on how to optimise their recruiting efforts. Finally, after being slightly tired of just talking about employer branding, I got the opportunity to work in it myself for the New Work SE in Hamburg, Germany.

What I love about employer branding is to both work on the strategic side of projects but at the same time being able to become creative in the execution. I feel like that both UX and UI design should play a far bigger role in HR nowadays. Making sure that candidates have a smooth journey towards hitting the apply button is as important as the strategy that let them there. 

What get´s me out of bed in the morning? Beautiful web design, graphic- and motion design. Catching talents by using it,  thats what makes my day 🙂
